Here is the mobile pop-up I would take around to display the project (two posters, and a garment rack).
Ageism: A Pop-Up Shop
he “Ageism Pop-Up Shop” was an idea I had inspired by the idea of ONE SIZE FITS ALL. Can one size actually fit all? The point was to create a mobile station where I could sell merchandise that could be appealing to people of any age or gender.
To create the shirts, I made a stencil out of chipboard using a laser cutter, and then spray painted the graphic onto size XL Gildan blank white t-shirts. It is humourous to see people of all different ages, sizes, and genders wearing the shirts, because some of them just do not fit, but that’s the point isn’t it?
The type face is made out of Helvetica Bold and Blackletter. The purpose of this was to create a balance of age. Blackletter is arguably the oldest typeface in existence, whereas Helvetica Bold is used very commonly in modern graphic design. The colors are also a play on timelessness.
This is an excerpt of my personal feed during the span of the project.
Here is an example of one of the individual posts I made.
InstaGenerations
InstaGenerations was a project in collaboration with Senior Planet NYC. Senior Planet is a company focused on teaching classes and holding events that older men and women can come to if they are interested in learning more about technology and social media. I was paired up with an older member of Senior Planet named Arthur Fornari (@art_fornari) who I communicated with daily for a month straight via instagram. Each day, both of us were given a prompt to answer by posting a picture of whatever we want, and interacting through comments. It was interesting to see how members of two completely separate generations interact through a platform that could potentially be so personal.
Art , Movies, and Bubble Tea: Podcast + Website
Art, Movies, and Bubble Tea is a Podcast focusing on conversation in its purest form. Two people of any age, simply talking about their favorite things with simple, fun prompts over various flavors of delicious bubble tea. The subject matter of the podcast ranges from past to present, with general focus on visual art and music. The podcast was featured as a part of a collaborative series of podcasts through lifeingeneral.online which was partially designed by me, as well as many of my peers.

This is the main page of the website, which lists all of the collaborators, as well as the project description.
Here is the specific page I designed for my particular podcast episode.
